I Went Away, and Now I Am Back.

I am very bored.
I like to disappear to random cities.
I take pictures when I am lost and away.

I haven’t traveled internationally in over a year when I went to Buenos Aires in May 2009. To make up for this I decided to go far away for a few weeks. I’m going to Nepal and Thailand in November for three weeks. It is somewhat of an epic trip that involves a 15 day hiking trip to Everest Base Camp. Three nights in Delhi and a week in Thailand split between Ko Samui and Bangkok. The bulk of the time will be in Ko Samui, I figure defrosting and warming up from the Everest trek. From now till I leave it will be a lot of packing and finding the gear I need for the hike.

It looks like Christmas lights or fireworks. It’s just a plant my grandma planted, but it’s beautiful. Seeing it made me smile because it is simply just a very pretty and extraordinary plant. Nothing more or nothing less.
